MORRIS – Julie Cardot was recently promoted to Vice President of Grundy Bank.
This follows Cardot being named leader of the bank’s newly formed Client Services Division. She will continue in her role as the Bank Secrecy Act Officer, according to a news release from Grundy Bank.
Her career began in 1985 working part-time in the bank’s lending and teller areas. She moved to a full-time role with the bank’s lending operations in 1990. In 1992 she transferred to the tellers and eventually became the Head Teller for Grundy Bank.

She and her husband, Doug, have two children Jason and Meghan (Sean), a granddaughter, Ava and they are expecting their second grandchild this summer.
Cardot said she originally came to Grundy Bank because she felt it was a very family oriented business. It’s this environment and the enjoyment of the work that has allowed her to enjoy her almost 30 years with the bank.
“Grundy Bank is just as kind and generous with their employees as they are to their clients,” she said in the release.
The locally owned and managed bank is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2014. It has offices in Morris and Wilmington. For more information visit www.grundybank.com.
