Student of the Month of February announced

MINOOKA – Congratulations are extended to Minooka Community High School senior McLean Holmes, son of Victoria and William Holmes of Shorewood, for being named the Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for February.

In the classroom, Holmes maintains a 3.3 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. 

Outside the classroom, Holmes is a member of the Technology Student Association, in which he earned a Bronze Achievement Award at the state competition during his Junior year. He also served as the organization’s president during his sophomore and junior years. Holmes is currently compiling and editing footage for the MCHS Class of 2014 end of the year senior video.  

Away from MCHS, Holmes is active in his personal business, Endlesss Entertainment.

After graduation, Holmes plans to attend North Central College where he will major in computer science and minor in business finance.
