Indictments released in Grundy County

MORRIS – Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland, has announced that on March 3 the grand jury returned the following indictments. The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Kathryn Lareno, 51, of Gardner, was indicted for three counts for the unlawful use of a debit card, all are class 4 felonies.

• Gerald Studyvin, 25, of Coal City, was indicted for three counts of unlawful delivery of more than one gram but less than 15 grams of heroin within 1,000 feet of a public park, all class X felonies.
