Crimestoppers seeks information on burglary

COAL CITY – The Grundy County Crimestoppers is seeking information about a vehicle burglary that occurred recently in Coal City.

About 7 p.m. Feb. 25, a 2007 GMC pickup truck was burglarized while it was parked at 225 W. Division St. The keys to the vehicle and an undetermined amount of cash were taken from the truck. The keys were found in a neighbor’s garage.

A white male subject wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with lettering on the front was seen on foot in the area.

Crimestoppers requests anyone with information about this or any other criminal activity to call the Crimestoppers line at 815-942-9667. Callers may remain anonymous and rewards of up to $5,000 are offered for information which leads to the arrest of the offenders.
