Connors’ no-hitter leads team to victory

Nolan Connors pitched a no-hitter for Minooka CarCare Collision Center in its recent 15-0 victory over Whiteford Canal Auto Builders in Crossroads of Mid-American Pony baseball.

Minooka CarCare Collision Center 14, Whiteford Tezak Funeral Home 7: Nate Rednor and Jake Sandei had three hits, and Adrian Esparza and Cody Laite two for Minooka CarCare Collision Center. Robby Lundgren doubled for Whiteford Tezak Funeral Home.


Minooka Rivercats 11, Plainfield Mutiny Golf 2: Logan Crowther and Caleb Parker pitched three innings each for the Minooka Rivercats, who got two hits from Ivan Dahlberg, Frankie Hummel and Zac Monnett.


Brandt Builders 21, Sam’s Pizza 13: Nick Perry and Connor Ahearn of Brandt Builders were 4 for 4 with four RBIs each, and Gavin Quevedo was a two-way standout. Ryker Anderson went 3 for 3 for Sam’s Pizza.

Standard Bank 22, RE/MAX 6: TJ Rzasa had five hits, Conner Dearing had four and Aaron Wills homered for Standard Bank. Maddox Rita’s defensive plays and three hits each from Dylan Skubic and Conner Mettille and Joey Muscato led RE/MAX.

Standard Bank 18, Edward Jones 15: Standard Bank featured the defense of Matthew Sizemore and the hitting of Dearing and Levi Hunt. Edward Jones standouts were Charlie Wright on defense and Sam Mateski on offense.

Standard Bank 20, Dairy Queen 2: Bennett Ammer hit two home runs, Sizemore and Aden Delahera had three hits and Wils played strong defense for Standard Bank. For Dairy Queen, Patrick Stroup and Aiden Hayes were top hitters and Jacob Watson a defensive standout.


Walsh Tree Services 4, First Mortgage Resource 0: The Walsh Tree Services offense received two hits from Tyler Deluca and Henry Stafford. Justin Jones and Lucas Munsell each pitched two scoreless innings for First Mortgage Resource.


Morris Hospital 12, Country Financial 4: Addison Morwick and Madison Moon were 3 for 3, and Alama Beshoar was 2 for 2 for Morris Hospital. Kayla Jepson and Megan Guistat of Country Financial were 2 for 2.
