E-waste event in Braceville on Saturday

BRACEVILLE – On Saturday, Grundy County will be hosting an e-waste collection event at the Braceville City Hall, 300 S. Mitchell St., Braceville.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is open to residents and is rain or shine. People will be there to transfer all of your used electronics from your vehicle. You do not have to be a Grundy County resident to participate in this event, according to a news release.

The following items will be accepted: televisions, computers and accessories, monitors, printers, printer cartridges, laptops and laptop accessories, hard drives, power cables, networking equipment, fax machines, copiers, cellphones and phones, CD players, DVD/VHS video players, electronic games, UPSs, MP3s, and PSPs and microwaves.
