COAL CITY -- State Rep. Kate Cloonen, D-Kankakee, will hold satellite office hours in Grundy County at the Coal City Village Hall, 515 S. Broadway in Coal City, from 10 a.m. to noon June 24.
The satellite office hours will be held in the Coal City Village Hall board room. Constituents who wish to meet with Cloonen privately regarding help they may need with state issues or services are encouraged to call her district office at 815-939-1983 to schedule an appointment.
“These satellite office hours provide residents with more opportunities to speak to me about issues they may be experiencing at the state level,” Cloonen said in a news release. “Expanding the constituent service office to other locations in our district makes offering assistance and providing communications more convenient for our constituents, and I invite them to use the services my office can help provide.”
The 79th District includes all or portions of Braceville, Coal City, Diamond, Gardner and South Wilmington.
“The 79th district stretches across parts of three counties, which is why I have made a constant effort to make my office as available as possible to everyone I represent,” she said in the release. “Opportunities to meet with residents in private settings outside my downtown Kankakee office would not be possible without the partnership of our local municipalities, and I am grateful for their willingness to share their village halls with me.”
