Competing for Illinois' top math honor

The Morris Community High School Mathletes competed at the ICTM State Math Contest on May 3 at the University of Illinois. Pictured (front row, from left to right) are John Wolfer, Christian Hauck, Sam Allen, Ian Bashor, Ricardo Del Toro, Samantha Cailey; (second row) Chloe Castelluccio, Adam Shay, Molly Fruland, Luke Terhall, Sarah Neuhalfen, Meghan Jurak; (third row) Nathan Guth, Mikaela Marino, Jessica Jurak, Shain Hennessy, Jiasui Ding, Alex Cook, Kelly Kolotka, Matt Bernickus; (back row) Jason Jurak, Tim Smyk and Trevor Lines.  Finishing in 10th place was the calculator team, which included John Wolfer, Jason Jurak, Chloe Castelluccio, Alex Cook and Kelly Kolotka.
