Immaculate Conception School hosted its first-ever reunion weekend from June 20-22.

The event was held in conjunction with the parish block party that took place June 20. Alumni members attending the block party received ribbons with the date of their graduation, according to a news release from the school. There were alumni present from the 1940s to the school’s most recent graduates.

An alumni golf outing also was held, with 40 golfers taking part. Many alumni participated at the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass at Immaculate Conception Church. Alumni members were recognized at the close of the Mass by Father Ed Howe, Immaculate Conception pastor.

This was the school’s first reunion weekend and it was well-attended, according to the news release. ICS has the names of graduates going back to the 1920s. Area alumni who are not receiving information from the school through the mail and wish to do so are asked to contact the school office.

Next year will be the 125th anniversary of the school, and a reunion weekend is scheduled for June 19-21 2015.
