Police are searching for Marshall L. Brown, of the 200 block of North Broadway in Joliet, on an aggravated battery warrant for a stabbing that occurred in Minooka Friday.

MINOOKA - Police are looking for a Joliet man they say stabbed a co-worker Friday at a warehouse.

An arrest warrant charging Marshall L. Brown, of the 200 block of North Broadway, with aggravated battery was issued Saturday morning, according to Minooka Police Chief Justin Meyer. The warrant carries a $250,000 bond.

About 4:15 p.m. Friday, Brown and a 31-year-old Country Club Hills man were working inside a freezer unit at World Class Distribution, 1510 Cargo Court, when they began arguing, Meyer said.

"The disagreement escalated and Brown allegedly stabbed his co-worker and fled," Meyer said. Brown drove away from the scene.

Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts is asked to call police at 815-467-2161 or anonymously call Grundy County CrimeStoppers at 815-942-9667.

The victim was taken to Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet after being stabbed multiple times. Meyer said Saturday afternoon the mane was in stable condition and is expected to survive.

World Class ships products for Trader Joe's grocery stores. Company officials based in Fontana, California, had no comment as of Saturday afternoon.
