MORRIS – The University of Illinois Extension, Grundy Office, will host a Mystery Camp from 1 to 3 p.m. on Aug. 6, at the Grundy County Fairgrounds, 8890 Route 47 in Morris.
The camp is open to all youth ages 8 to 14 years old.
Youth who attend the camp will use science and technology to help solve a murder. There will be area professionals speaking about their jobs and crime scene investigation. The youth will get to complete hands-on activities related to crime scenes and DNA in order to help solve the murder mystery.
All interested youth must pre-register with the University of Illinois Extension Office – Grundy County. The cost to attend the camp is $4. To register, call the office at 815-942-2725 or stop by 4004 N. Division St., Morris.
