Joliet Slammers to host ‘Seneca Night’

SENECA – The Seneca Park Board and the Joliet Slammers have teamed up with local organizations to host “Seneca Night” at Silver Cross Field in Joliet Saturday.

Game time is slated at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from any Seneca FFA member, the Seneca Historical Guild or the Knights of Columbus. A portion of the tickets sales will be given back to the respective organization. The top ticket salesperson will have the honor of throwing out the first pitch, according to a news release.

Members of the Seneca community will be recognized on the field during pregame ceremonies, including the Seneca FFA and the singing of Kayla Haines.

Bus transportation is available and seats can be reserved. The bus will leave Seneca High School at 4:15 p.m.
