Local Grand Jury indictments announced

MORRIS – Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland, announced on July 16 the grand jury returned the following indictments. The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Tina Corwin, 32, of Morris, was indicted for the unlawful possession of cocaine, a Class 4 felony.

• Chad Crow, 38, of Morris, was indicted for domestic battery, a Class 4 felony.

• Ronald Ellison Jr. 45, of Morris, was indicted for resisting a peace officer and proximately causing an injury, a Class 4 felony.

• Jason Maple, 22, of Godley, was indicted for bringing heroin into a penal institution, a class 2 felony; unlawful possession of heroin, a class 4 felony; and unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle, a Class A misdemeanor.

The LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s office also released indictments from its Grand Jury on July 15, which included the indictment of Randall D. Rodgers, 53, of Marseilles, on three counts of child pornography.
