MORRIS – A 25-year-old Morris man was arrested Tuesday on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse to a child after a quick investigation.

Juan C. Fiscal-Antemate was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Grundy County Jail after Morris police and a detective were called just before 8 a.m. to initiate an investigation on an aggravated criminal sexual abuse report to a child under 13, Morris Deputy Chief John Severson said.

“They investigated throughout the day, and by the afternoon, he was in custody and charges approved by the state’s attorney,” Severson said Wednesday.

“The investigation was initiated and culminated all in less than 12 hours,” he said crediting the expert Victim Sensitive Interviewer who immediately came in and expedited the investigation.
