MORRIS – The first day of school for Immaculate Conception School students will be Aug. 19. Classes begin at 7:55 a.m., and dismissal will be at 11 a.m.
Bus service to school will be available that day, but not for the 11 a.m. dismissal, according to a news release from the school.
Preschool and kindergarten students and their families are invited to visit the school Aug. 19. 3-year-old preschool families may visit between 8 and 9:30 a.m. 4-year-olds whose last name begin with A through M should visit between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. and those with last names that begin with N through Z between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.
Kindergarten students whose last name begin with A though L may visit between 8 and 9:30 a.m. and those that begin with M though Z between 9:30 and 11 a.m. Kindergartners are asked to bring their supplies to school that day.
The first full session of school for all students is Aug. 20. Bus service to transport students home will begin that day. Before school care will begin Aug.19 and after school care Aug. 20. The school website ics1.org contains information regarding student screenings. Parents should send completed forms to the school no later than the first day of school.
There will be an Orientation Night for new families at 6:30 p.m., Aug. 12 in the St. Angela Room. The Back to School Party for all families will be at 6 p.m. on Aug. 14. Back to School Night for ICS parents will be Aug. 27.
