MORRIS – A five-vehicle accident outside of Morris Community High School caused no major injuries Tuesday.
The accident occurred just as school was letting out and involved many high school aged kids.
“Several of the people involved are underage,” said Bob Wills, deputy chief for the Morris Fire Protection & Ambulance District while on the scene.
“It was at a bad time, because they were all coming out of the high school,” he continued.
One victim was transported to Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers, but Wills said there were no substantial injuries.
The accident involved one vehicle which stopped, causing several other vehicles to rear end one another.
“It was just a chain reaction,” Wills said.
