Police: Morris man ticketed for making threats of violence, bodily harm

JOLIET – A Morris man allegedly threatened to do “violence and bodily harm” to another man at a beer distribution building, police said.

On Tuesday, Patrick G. Loomis Sr., 58, of the 3500 block of Boss Court, got into an argument with a 48-year-old man at Blue Ribbon Products warehouse, 1511 Olympic Blvd., said Joliet Police Deputy Chief Ed Gregory.

The man became alarmed when Loomis allegedly threatened to do “violence and bodily harm” against him, Gregory said.

Loomis was arrested by Joliet police Wednesday and issued a compliance ticket.

NOTE: The original headline on this story should have said that the man was ticketed. The Herald-News regrets the error.
