BRAIDWOOD – Authorities served 20 arrest warrants early Thursday morning on delivery of heroin and cocaine charges.
At 4 a.m., Braidwood police and other law enforcement agencies such as the DEA served the arrest warrants around the city, said Braidwood Acting Deputy Chief Steve Finlon. The suspects have been arrested and taken to the Will County jail.
“This is the culmination of a three-month long investigation,” Finlon said.
He said the investigation was initiated by Braidwood police. The Will County State’s Attorney’s Office and sheriff’s office also cooperated in the investigation, he said.
A press conference on the arrests will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Braidwood City Hall. We will broadcast it live on our Facebook page.
