Wanted man appears to comment on Morris Police Facebook post about him

The Morris Police Department is looking for 21-year-old William Leonard on a Grundy County warrant for a harassment through electronic communications from Nov. 30.

So the department posted a notice regarding Leonard on its page Wednesday night.

Four hours later, the first comment came on the post. From a Will Leonard account, saying "Good luck" with a middle finger emoji.

That Will Leonard account, like the Leonard the Morris Police are looking for, has photos that look similar to the wanted man and also is from Gillette, Wyoming, like the man wanted by police.

According to Grundy Court records, Leonard did not appear for the charge on Dec. 12 and a warrant hearing was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police describe Leonard as approximately 6 foot tall and 190 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. His last known address was in the 800 block of Libery Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Morris Police Department at 815-942-2131.
