MORRIS — The 2014 Corn Festival Hobby and Handicraft Exhibit will again be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 E. Jackson St.
There is a class for everyone at the Hobby and Handicraft Exhibit. This event showcases the many talents of the participants by exhibiting their handmade projects. There are many categories including stenciling, tin punch, stained glass, woodworking, and needlework. Recent additions to this show include Scrapbooking, Rubber Stamping, and Card Making.
There are also several categories open to youth exhibitors. Jim Scaman and Jeri Robinson, the co-chairs of this event, encourage entrants of all ages to participate.
Entries for the Hobby and Handicraft Exhibit will be accepted from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at the First Presbyterian Church. The exhibit will be open from noon until 7 p.m. Sept. 27 and from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sept. 28. All exhibits must be removed before 5 p.m. Sept. 28.
The entry and admission fee is a Corn Festival button. Please come out and vote for the People’s Choice Award, to be given to the highest vote getter at the end of Corn Festival.
