The 25th annual Home for the Holidays celebration was a success, and proceeds from the annual house walk were donated to several organizations including Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice, Morris AED Program, a downtown beautification project (spring and winter downtown planters), First Baptist Church (who hosted the Christmas Tea), Coal City High School Madrigals, Morris High School Madrigals and the Grundy Emergency Management Agency.

The committee also will be presenting scholarships to a Morris High School student and a Grundy Area Vocational student later in spring.

Already preparing for next year, the Home For The Holidays Committee is looking for additional homes and volunteers for the 2019 house walk.
