MORRIS — The Grundy County Board's Finance Committee met Monday night at the Grundy County Administration Center.
After the committee approved vouchers in the total of $1,440 and hand checks in the amount of $2,793.86, County Administrator George Gray reported that at 23 percent through fiscal year 2019, General Fund expenditures are at 17 percent and revenues are at 14 percent of what is expected.
John Ritchie, of Menard Consulting, Inc., presented the Actuarial Valuation of Other Postemployment Benefits for Grundy County in accordance with GASB Statement No. 75 for the fiscal year ending November 30, 2018. County Administrator George Gray stated that no action was needed and the calculations were used in the fiscal year 2018 audit.
The motion was made to approve the salary range - $60,000-$80,000 - as stated on the job description for Financial Analyst to be paid from Contingencies, to include previously allocated monies from the receptionist salary and as discussed for the part-time Financial Analyst position. The position will be properly budgeted for fiscal year 2020. The committee approved posting the position internally first, then to the public.
