The Will-Grundy Medical Clinic will look to raise funds in November with an event in Morris.
The clinic will host a “Brush and Brew” paint party at EXibit Fine Art Center and Gallery at 4 p.m. Nov. 16. Attendees will participate in a guided painting activity led by Ray Grossi, vice president of the EXibit Board of Directors.
“As the only nonprofit arts and cultural organization in Grundy County, the EXibit is excited to work with other nonprofits in fundraising and outreach opportunities,” board secretary Caroline Cummings said. “We want all citizens to have access to the fine arts and music. We are also proud to be a supporter of the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic in their efforts to provide access to care for those in need.”
The mission of the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic is to promote a healthy community by providing free health-care services to people in Will and Grundy counties who are unable to receive care from other sources. Those services are provided through dedicated health care professional volunteers, support volunteers, paid staff and in alliance with other community agencies and health care providers.
“We are thrilled to partner with EXibit Fine Art Center and Gallery for this enjoyable evening with our friends in Morris,” said Shawn Marconi, executive director of Will-Grundy Medical Clinic. “You can support this fundraising effort either through sponsorship or join us and discover your hidden artist within.”
Tickets to this fundraising event are $35 a person, which includes guided painting activity, appetizers and drinks.
Tickets and sponsorships opportunities are available online at willgrundymedicalclinic.org/fundraising/brush-and-brew, or payments can be mailed to WGMC, 213 E. Cass St, Joliet IL 60432.
Attendees are asked to RSVP by Nov. 8 by calling Lynnette Doherty at 815-726-3377, ext. 225.
