The Grundy County Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently welcomed Vic’s Handyman Services as a new chamber member.
The business is owned by Jerry Vickers and started in August, although Vickers has been working with his hands for decades.
“I’ve been doing handy work my whole life,” he said in a news release. “I will do the small handyman work that most people don’t want to do, as well as yard work and I can fix almost anything. I’m very versatile, please ask.”
He worked for AT&T doing cable repair, doing line work and running heavy equipment for 30 years. He also worked in the building trades and has welding and well experience.
Vickers prides himself on working hard, being affordable and working with clients to solve a problem.
“We are so excited to have Vic’s Handyman Services as part of our membership. Jerry has already helped the Chamber doing small jobs on our building in a timely and professional manner,” Chamber President and CEO Christina Van Yperen said.
