MORRIS — Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the City of Morris is permitting, but strongly discouraging, public attendance at City Council meetings. Those attending will be required to comply with social distancing requirements, and the City will enforce the Governor's Executive Order prohibiting the gathering of 10 or more people. This includes city officials and staff. Seating will be limited and spaced out consistent with Federal Center for Disease Control Guidelines. Under no circumstances will more than 10 persons be allowed in the Council Chambers.
No persons will be allowed to attend in person that are ill or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
The public may view and listen to the April 6 meeting and provide public comment during the designated public comment portion of the agenda via a computer, tablet, cellular phone or other digital device. Public questions or comments may also be submitted by e-mailing the City at any time prior to or during the meeting at email@example.com. All questions or comments will be read and answered during the meeting, and read into the minutes of the meeting.
Written public comments may be submitted to the City by e-mail for a period of 24 hours following the meeting. Any public comments received will be incorporated into the minutes of the meeting.
