MORRIS – Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center said in a news release Thursday that COVID-19 has been identified in the facility.
This has been reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Grundy County Health Department. The positive cases identified are being closely monitored.
The facility said in the release that it continues to make the health and well-being of its residents and staff a top priority.
“We have been proactive so as to reduce the exposure to COVID-19 and continue to do so in the best interest of every person’s health,” Administrator Suzanne Day said in the release.
Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center said it continues to work cooperatively with the Illinois Department of Public Health, Grundy County Health Department, Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers and others in the community, and that federal privacy restrictions prohibit the release of any additional information.
