MINOOKA – The Greater Channahon-Minooka Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Wyman Automotive, a new business in Minooka, to the Chamber.

The full-service automotive business is owned by Paul and Lisa Ellis and is located at 800 Rail Way Court in Minooka. The business opened about four months ago and employs five people with more than 50 years of experience combined.

“Wyman Automotive is a full-service automotive repair business with two [Automotive Surveillance Excellence]-certified master automotive technicians and a general service technician on staff, “ Paul Ellis said in a news release. “Anything from basic maintenance, like oil changes and tire rotations, to the most in-depth mechanical repairs to complicated electrical and computer testing, troubleshooting and repair are within our capabilities. We also offer all name-brand tires and alignment service.”

On July 31, the Chamber held a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with Minooka Mayor Pat Brennan at the new automotive center.

“The Wyman team is very attentive," said Christina Van Yperen, president and CEO of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry. "The facility is state of the art, clean and welcoming. It’s our pleasure to have them as a member and as a part of our community.”

Wyman Automotive is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call for an appointment at 815-255-5110 or visit www.wymanautomotive.com.

Wyman Automotive offers flexible payment options so customers can get needed repairs made to their vehicles within an affordable budget. These options include three-, six- or twelve-month payment plans, and no interest is charged on the three-month plan. Applying takes only 30 seconds, and there is no “hard pull” on customers' credit reports, so it won’t affect credit scores. Convenience is key to clients, so Wyman Automotive also offers after-hours drop-off and pickup, local shuttle service to home or work and discounted rates on rental vehicles.

“It doesn’t matter to us if your car is American, Asian or European; gas or diesel; two-, four- or all-wheel drive. We have the latest testing equipment and tools and the training to go with it. That allows us to accomplish anything your vehicle might need,” Paul Ellis said.

“The staff at Wyman Automotive truly care about the people and their families who drive and ride in the vehicles we service," he said. "We try to provide an extraordinary experience to all our clients by letting them know they are more than just a customer. We are thrilled to be a part of the Minooka/Channahon and Grundy County community and look forward to making as many new friends as we can.”
